Framework
Framework makes laptops you can actually repair and upgrade yourself. Their laptops work beautifully with Linux, and they've built a community where hardware tinkerers and Linux enthusiasts collaborate on everything from troubleshooting kernel modules to designing custom expansion cards.
Fedora
The Fedora Project runs one of the most active Linux distribution forums on the web. Their Discussion hub serves both users troubleshooting installations and contributors coordinating the next release. Browse through Ask Fedora and you'll find detailed threads about getting specific hardware working, resolving boot issues after kernel updates, and optimizing system performance. The forum even supports multiple languages through user groups.
Ubuntu
Ubuntu's Community Hub brings together users across all official Ubuntu flavors, handling everything from technical support to event coordination. Over 2,000 topics cover installation problems, software troubleshooting, and hardware compatibility.
We're looking for forums that have built something interesting, whether that's a thriving knowledge base, an active developer community, or a space where meaningful conversations happen at scale.
